Shakespeare:

Shakespeare was gay, you know?
Mmm .. well .. if you really say so
He didn’t write it all by himself
Oh dear, let’s put him back on shelf
Shakespeare was a womanizer, too
A gay womanizer? Could this be true?
Was Shakespeare a woman all in drag?
Or, did he have a woman for his hag?
Was he an author, like of modern day?
Whom profess to write, but write they nay?
And, do we care, even one tiniest bit?
If it came from 1 or 20, this famous wit?
I say nay, verily not, should it ever be forgot
Regardless of whom wrote, when, or what
So pardon me for my rhyming pleading
But, your protestations interrupt my reading

hhhhhaha! so true….well whatever or whomever I still would have dearly loved to have met him….and that is what great poets, writers, artists do, they leave a part of themselves for posterity that lives on forever and we shouldn’t be concerned so much with how they chose to live but with the beauty and the wit they left behind. Thanks Arletta. xx
  • Lovely comment! Your welcome, and thank you. Aye, I would have loved to have met him, also; or them, if it’s true that more than one person did the writing. You know, whatever! Anyone with that kind of sense of humor, timing, understanding of human nature, etc. sounds wonderful to know.

  • Oh, but he trembles, inside belly, out of countenance
To dream of putting words forth amongst the stars
Only a fool would cast himself at paper in challenge
Of what ere shone in ways that made mundane Mars

    That’s all I have
