Good morning! Just finished reading a very informative article on prayer. Actually it was a set of articles, addressing the finer points of how, why, when, and to whom. Today, I hope to get some work done around the house, but, have nothing else, much, going. Too hot, too poor for big plans Something was nagging at me last night, though, and, it goes back to what that one person said (down, down in the journal entries) about how what I ask for makes me a Pro Domme. I am not a Pro Domme, but, if I was, so what? Oh, I know, people say Pro Dommes are only after money, they have no real feelings for their clients, blah blah blah .. Yet, many lawyers, on retainer, become friends of the family. Many doctors are spoken of as kind and loving toward their patients, going out of their way to heal them. Not all of them are, no. Some really are only after the money and get quite creepy with it; but, the point is, that taking money for something you are good at, proves nothing about you, except that you need money to pay your bills. You can love singers, who sell you albums, movie stars who you have to pay to see in action, you pray for a Judge that will be fair and impartial, you love an Attorney that is effective, you dote on the doctor who finds the cure, you appreciate police officers that actually do serve and protect, and, those of you who are religious, you do tend to adore your priest, preacher, pastor, minister .. and, in most cases, all of those people are people who are getting paid to be in some sort of higher position than you. So, screw you and your assumption that just because it is a woman getting paid to do what, after all, the man desperately wants done, that it means she is somehow a lower life life. Women need to pay their rent, and, they generally have a lot more expenses when it comes to work or play, by expectation of society in how they should dress. Screw you for thinking that your wallet is so sacrosanct that its contents are worth more than her time, sweat, tears, mental labors, or, physical beauty. Screw you, with your 'I believe in female supremacy' but 'if you want money forget it' bullshite. If you love women, then you learn about them, and, if you learn about them, then you know that they are STILL oppressed by society, even in the most free of societies, through being judged by their looks more than their actions or thoughts, by being forced by expectation to wear makeup (horribly expensive shite, that), have their hair done, wear special clothes, and, that their clothes - decent quality clothes that won't give them a rash - cost more than men's clothes and that women are expected to own those clothes in greater quantity, presenting a variety of interesting looks to the world at large, or, they are SHUNNED, reviled, abused, sometimes even fired or refused work based on a lack thereof. You want to make her life better, do you? Want to serve her, do you? Then, simultaneously stop being part of the problem, by coming to know her as a person and valuing her for that; and, of course, making it more possible for her to walk down the street, dressed well, in makeup that is not going to fry her skin off with its poor quality, as well as having a decent place to lay her head, and, healthful food to eat. If you can't make those things happen, then, screw you. She has no use for you. Men want slaves for personal, physical pleasure related to sex and wielding their power over the flesh of another, primarily. That's what is hard for them to get. Women want real comfort and security. That is what is hard for them to get. The other things, they probably will enjoy, as well; but, if you are to serve the one or the other, you had better figure out what their motivation is, and, seek their pleasure, not what you hope their pleasure is. Now, I am firmly against women who go into Pro Domming, who have no love for the activities, or, who simply cater to the exact whims of the s-type for money. Then, they are whores, selling their body for money. However, so are strippers, and, many men who hate Pro Dommes love striippers, so, there's hypocrisy for you! I am, however, firmly for someone who knows how to teach, how to discipline, how to create art, getting paid for their labors. And, so are you! In fact, some of you are teachers, who stand in front of a class, expecting obedience and hard work, thinking you deserve a paycheck for it - and, yet, judging a woman who stands with her foot on the back of your head, expecting the exact same. Screw you! |
